Hello, thanks again for checking out my website. My counseling style is down-to Earth, caring, non-judgmental, and supportive. I personalize the counseling experience based on each client's needs and strengths utilizing techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
I have specialized training to work with OCD and related disorders utilizing exposure and response prevention (ERP) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) . I am a BTTI graduate. BTTIs are offered by the International OCD Foundation as 3-day intensive trainings to treat OCD.
I really enjoy helping people identify their strengths and challenge thought patterns that are limiting or unhealthy. I also enjoy helping people find ways to insert humor into their daily lives and reconnect with what is most important. Life can be stressful or overwhelming and sometimes humor can help shift our perspective.
When I'm not in the office I enjoy going on adventures with my family.
